Stop in this week and stock up on grass-fed burgers from our farm — plus grass-fed cheese, peppers, onions, and mushrooms for topping, and Silver Hills Power buns!

Michael’s Grilling Tips

  • Using wood charcoal and an old Weber, establish a fire on one side, leaving the other side empty. Get your fire hot — the embers should be white.

  • Put the hamburger or steak over the hot side for 2 minutes. Do not press on it or move it. Leave it alone.

  • Flip it and leave again for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Move it to the side that has no coals and close the lid. Let it cook and smoke for 5 minutes.

  • Remove from heat and let it sit for another 5 minutes. It is still cooking. Do not move it or press on it while it is cooking.

  • Prepare and eat to your preference. If you prefer it more well done, leave it on the grill for a couple more min before removing from the side with low heat. Enjoy!
