Spring has sprung and we are so excited for the warmer days ahead! Springtime brings so much life to the farm and we can’t wait to keep sharing more delicious, fresh offerings as the days grow brighter and the fields begin to thaw. 🌱☀️

After a long and sluggish winter, we can help our bodies’ natural ability to detox by consuming lots of leafy greens! 🥬 These are rich in chlorophyll which can rid our bodies of toxins and increase bile production - aiding our liver in its cleansing abilities.

In the store, fresh from our garden, we have plenty of greens to help you feel revived. We also love our beets, carrots, and blueberries for their amazing detoxifying elements! 🥕🫐

Produce

This week’s local, fresh harvest includes:

  • Beets

  • Blueberries (frozen)

  • Carrots and Baby Carrots with Tops!

  • Herbs— fresh dill, parsley, celery and plenty of dried options available!

  • Kale

  • Lettuce (mixed leafy)

  • Lettuce (mini artisan heads)

  • Mixed Greens

  • Mushrooms—dried options available!

  • Spinach

  • Swiss Chard

As always, our produce is GMO-free and grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides — and we make sure it stays that way, even for crops that are tricky to grow naturally!

Dairy & Eggs

This week’s options include:

  • Grass-fed, organic, non-homogenized, low heat pasteurized milk (A1 / A2 option this week), butter, cheese  (cottage cheese, GGC sharp cheddar, and Parmigiano Reggiano), buttermilk, French dip, kefir, and yogurt. Please plan ahead and let us know 2-3 weeks in advance for cream and all dairy (if you can), it helps. Thank you to all those who are working hard to help us make that happen.

  • Chicken AND Duck eggs this week, or so we think! 😉 Our eggs are hand harvested and cleaned. Our chickens are raised on not simply organic but also a soy free grain mix along with their free range diet. There really is nothing like the consistency and flavor of these delectable treats from heritage breeds . . . we bring out the connoisseurs! Learn more about our eggs and why the creamy, delicious dairy we carry tastes so good!

Meat Availability

This week’s options (while supplies last) include:

  • Beef Prime Steaks: Filet, Chuckeye, Denver, NY Strip, Ribeye, Sirloin, and other steaks!

  • Beef Savory Roasts, Steaks & Ribs: Brisket (plenty large enough for smoking), Chuck, Chuck Arm, Round (top, bottom, eye, and full), Flat Iron, Mock Tenderloin, and Rump & Sirloin Tip Roasts and Steaks.
