Local Honey: Winter Immunity Boost🐝

Sweeten your day with a tip from our farm household to yours: Add local honey to your daily routine to give you a natural immunity boost during winter's cold and flu season. 🐝🍯 Our raw honey is a customer favorite — with no synthetic chemicals and notes of clover, alfalfa, fruit, and wildflowers. Stop by and explore our honey selection straight from the hives at Acorn Acres Farm, Ken Theis, or Living Earth Farms as well as other varieties from local apiaries. Each with unique flavors and qualities!

Produce

This week’s fresh harvest includes more from our hoop gardens and our partner gardens, yes, even with the chill in the air: 

  • Blueberries (frozen)

  • Cabbage—nice and large!

  • Carrots—sweet, crisp, and scrumptious! Straight from our nutrient dense soil!

  • Garlic

  • Herbs—Many dried options, fresh are re-growing in our hoops! 

  • Lettuce & Mixed Greenswill be back next week! This cold means we need to be efficient and won't be uncovering our little babies this week for harvest!

  • Onions

  • Potatoes—Fingerlings, Kennebecs, and Purple . . . amazing flavor! 

  • Pumpkins and other Winter Squash (and gourde) varieties including winter luxury pumpkins, autumn frost, honey boat delicata, full-size butternut, green and cream—Thelma Sanders—acorn, Musqee de Provance (Fairytale Pumpkins), spaghetti squash and many more! Enjoy the season of squash and get your potassium punch of the day!

  • Sweet Potatoes

As always, our produce is GMO-free and grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides — and we make sure it stays that way, even for crops that are tricky to grow naturally! 

Dairy & Eggs

This week’s options include:

  • Grass-fed, organic, non-homogenized, low heat pasteurized cow's milk, butter, buttermilk, cheese (cottage, GGC sharp cheddar, semi-soft, washed rind cheese, Alpine style premium reserves and a variety of others), French Dip, Kefir (plain), sour cream, and yogurt! Our whipping cream is back this week in a quart size container (which comes out at with a price savings). 

  • Chicken & Duck eggs!

  • Beef Grill Options: Ground Beef, Beef Patties (3 or 4 pk), Suet (for getting your skillet hot, with flavor), and more! 

  • Beef Stew & Organ Meat Options: Soup Bones, Stew and Organ Meats, including liver, heart, kidney, spleen, oxtail, tongue, and more! Respect the whole animal and enjoy the health benefits! Ask our team what makes the organ meats so special!

  • Chicken (frozen): Whole and Cut-ups (breasts—currently boneless/skinless only, thighs—boneless/skinless or bone-in options, drumsticks, leg quarters, and wings—a 15% discount if you buy 2 pkgs wings!!), Ground Chicken, Soup Bones, and Organ Meats.
