Produce

This week’s fresh harvest includes fewer offerings but we hope to gear back up next week: 

  • Arugula—very limited supply

  • Beets—baby beets with tops and larger without tops

  • Blueberries (frozen)

  • Cabbage

  • Carrots—baby carrots with tops and larger without

  • Garlic—very limited!

  • Herbs—Fresh (dill, celery, chives, etc.) and dried options available!

  • Leaf Lettuce

  • Leeks & Baby Shallots (with green tops)

  • Mixed Greens—endive, mixed leaf lettuce, kale, spinach, and other baby greens

  • Mushrooms—Chef’s Sampler (mix of Maitake Frondosa, Trumpet Royale, Grey Oysters, Alba and Brown Clamshells) as well as bulk Maitake Frondosa

  • Onions—very limited supply

  • Potatoes 

  • Pumpkins and other Winter Squash (and gourde) varieties including autumn frost and Musquee de Provence (Fairytale Pumpkins) and more! 

  • Radish—baby radish with tops

  • Sweet Potatoes

  • Turnips

As always, our produce is GMO-free and grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides — and we make sure it stays that way, even for crops  that are tricky to grow naturally!

Dairy & Eggs

This week’s options include:

  • Grass-fed, organic, non-homogenized, low heat pasteurized cow's milk, butter  (Small Acres Specialty Farms tub butter only), cheese (GGC sharp cheddar, and Alpine style premium reserve), French Dip, sour cream, whipping cream, and yogurt (vanilla and plain this week)! 

  • Chicken and Duck eggs this week!

This week’s options (while supplies last) include:

  • Beef Prime Steaks: Filet, NY Strip, Ribeye, Sirloin, and T-Bone  / Porterhouse Steaks!

  • Beef Savory Roasts, Steaks & Ribs: Chuck & Chuck Arm (very limited supply), Rump & Sirloin Tip  Roasts, Chuck eye, Flank, Flat Iron, Mock Tenderloin, Round (eye, top, and bottom round), and Skirt steaks.

  • Beef Grill Options: Ground Beef, Beef Patties (3 or 4 pk), Suet (for getting your skillet hot, with flavor), and more! We're also carrying The Brooklyn Hot Dog Company dogs: All Beef or Beef & Pork! Buy two and get 10% off, while supplies last (see our box specials including a 10% break on condiments and brioche buns)!

  • Beef Stew & Organ Meat Options: Soup Bones, Stew and Organ Meats,  including heart, kidney, oxtail, spleen, sweet breads, tongue, and more! Respect the whole animal and enjoy the health benefits! Ask our team what makes the organ meats so special!

  • Chicken (frozen): Whole and Cut-ups (large boneless / skinless breasts—limited supply, we encourage trying the whole chicken as an alternative,  thighs, drums, and wings—a 10% discount if you buy 2 pkgs wings!!), Ground Chicken, and Organ Meats. Also, if you haven't tried our yummy, Mild Chicken Italian Sausage, you're missing out!!

    • Pork Chops (thick or thin) & Steaks, Tenderloins, Baby Backs, Spareribs  and more! Other cuts: Back Fat and Lard made by one of our own in-house chefs and store managers, Joanna, in collaboration with Joe's Bread! And Pork Neck Bones for that favorite Pasta Sauce flavor. 

    • Smoked Canadian, Jowl and pork belly bacon, smoked pork chops, hams and  ham hocks for your special meals!! Or, for a smokey sausage, try our bacon cooked in your skillet or toaster oven with any of the sausage (particularly the Real Vermonter's Maple) for that delicious flavor that comes with smoked sausage.

  • Turkey: Frozen Whole and Cut-ups! Breasts (boneless / skin on), drums, wings, and backs for amazing soup stock available. We also have ground turkey in 1 lb packages!
