It is our pleasure to offer fresh food to all of our customers who prioritize local, seasonal ingredients year round. We are grateful for YOU! šŸ§” We look forward to seeing you as you stop by for any last-minute ingredients ahead of enjoying delicious food with friends and family this week! Produce

This weekā€™s fresh harvest includes, drum role please: 

  • Arugula

  • Beets

  • Blueberries (frozen)

  • Cabbageā€”nice and large! Some of these heads this week are 6 lbs, imagine how that can feed you and your family!!

  • Carrotsā€”sweet, crisp, and scrumptious! Straight from our nutrient dense soil!

  • Daikon Radishā€”we are serving the greens / tops separately this week! And, in case you hadn't heard, the tops are rich in magnesium and vitamins C as well as K. There is some reason to believe that they may help with memory loss and protect the lungs against oxidative stress and damage. Whatever the health benefits, you can avoid the fuzzy texture of the tops by cooking them and you won't be disappointed in the amazing flavor, chock full of it!

  • Garlic

  • Herbsā€”Fresh dill, lavender, mint, oregano, parsley, sage, thyme, and some surprises!! Many dried options! 

  • Hot Pepper Varieties (some that will ignite the pallet of even the most tolerant)!ā€”chili, datil, jalapeño, poblano, serrano, sugar rush, Thai, and additional chili varieties (fading with the cold so get them while you can and dry them at home for your winter dishes, they look beautiful strung and hanging around your fall home while they dry)!

  • Kale (curly)

  • Lettuce (whole heads and some mixed)

  • Mixed Greensā€”a fascinating and exotic salad mix for the adventure in you! We've been adding fresh herbs to the concoction for a little excitement!

  • Onions ā€”Candy onions!

  • Potatoesā€”Fingerlings, Kennebecs, Purple, and Red Nolans!! Fresh dug . . . amazing flavor! 

  • Pumpkins and other Winter Squash (and gourde) varieties including winter luxury pumpkins, autumn frost, buttercups, honey boat delicata, honey nut butternut and full-size butternut, green and creamā€”Thelma Sandersā€”acorn, Musqee de Provance (Fairytale Pumpkins), spaghetti squash and many more! Enjoy the season of squash and get your potassium punch of the day!

  • Red Cherry Belle Radish & Watermelon Radish! -- these delicious delicacies are all the rave this season, try them out!!

  • Scallions (green onions) ā€”super fresh and delicious!

  • Shallots

  • Spinach or Radish Topsā€”bursting with flavor & nutrients, try them!

  • Sweet Potatoes

  • Swiss Chard

  • Turnipsā€”Purple Top White Globe with magenta

    As always, our produce is GMO-free and grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides ā€” and we make sure it stays that way, even for crops that are tricky to grow naturally! 

Dairy & Eggs

This weekā€™s options include:

  • Grass-fed cow's milk (Kalona Supernatural this week!), butter, buttermilk, cheese (Caciocavallo, cottage, GGC sharp cheddar, semi-soft, washed rind cheese, traditional tomme, semi-firm, smear-ripened, Alpine style premium reserves and a variety of others), French Dip, Kefir (plain), sour cream, yogurt (plain & vanilla), and whipping cream! 

  • Chicken, Duck & Quail eggs!

  • Beef Grill Options: Ground Beef, Beef Patties (3 or 4 pk), Suet (for getting your skillet hot, with flavor), and more! We're also carrying The Brooklyn Hot Dog Company dogs: All Beef or Beef & Pork! Buy two and get 15% off, while supplies last (see our box specials including a 15% break on condiments and brioche buns)!

  • Beef Stew & Organ Meat Options: Soup Bones, Stew and Organ Meats, including liver, heart, kidney, and more! Respect the whole animal and enjoy the health benefits! Ask our team what makes the organ meats so special!

  • Chicken (frozen): Whole and Cut-ups (breastsā€”currently boneless/skinless only, thighsā€”boneless/skinless or bone-in options, drumsticks, leg quarters, and wingsā€”a 15% discount if you buy 2 pkgs wings!!), Ground Chicken, Soup Bones (necks and backsā€”2 for the price of 1 while supplies last) and Organ Meats.     • Pork Chops & Steaks available by Wednesday 11/29. Spareribs and more! Other cuts: Back Fat (Great for making your own lard, sausage, or using just like it is to grease your skillet!) and Pork Neck Bones for that favorite Pasta Sauce flavor. 

    • Smoked Jowl and pork belly bacon, hams for your special meals, ham slices, and hocks!! 

    • We're also carrying a variety of hardwood smoked bacon sausage options from Big Fork (from Berkshire Hogs raised on pasture): Currently we only have a limited amount of Cracked Black Pepper and Maple & Brown Sugar Sausage!
