Fresh pumpkin pies, reserve yours while supplies last!

Support local sustainable farms and eat well this season — whether you eat meat or not! We've got fresh, sustainably grown garlic, butternut squash, pumpkin pie pumpkins, sweet potatoes, onions, fresh greens, fresh herbs and more. 

Plus, this year we will be offering something new: Joe's delicious pumpkin pies for pick up starting Saturday 11/18.

Only a few hours left to place your whole turkey and fresh-baked Joe’s pumpkin pie orders! Our turkeys are free-range and sustainably raised by a small family farm on open pastures with organic feed and no antibiotics — no comparison to grocery store turkey!

Produce

This week’s fresh harvest includes, drum role please: 

  • Arugula

  • Beets

  • Blueberries (frozen)

  • Cabbage—nice and large! Some of these heads this week are 6 lbs, imagine how that can feed you and your family!!

  • Carrots—sweet, crisp, and scrumptious! Straight from our nutrient dense soil!

  • Daikon Radish—we are serving the greens / tops separately this week! And, in case you hadn't heard, the tops are rich in magnesium and vitamins C as well as K. There is some reason to believe that they may help with memory loss and protect the lungs against oxidative stress and damage. Whatever the health benefits, you can avoid the fuzzy texture of the tops by cooking them and you won't be disappointed in the amazing flavor, chock full of it!

  • Garlic

  • Heirloom Tomatoes—Just a few this late in the season! Yes, we have them one more week . . . 

  • Herbs—Fresh dill, lavender, mint, oregano, parsley, sage, thyme, and some surprises!! Many dried options! 

  • Hot Pepper Varieties (some that will ignite the pallet of even the most tolerant)!—chili, datil, jalapeño, poblano, serrano, sugar rush, Thai, and additional chili varieties (fading with the cold so get them while you can and dry them at home for your winter dishes, they look beautiful strung and hanging around your fall home while they dry)!

  • Kale (curly)

  • Leeks—Enjoy them in your favorite soup stocks or just enjoy them!

  • Lettuce (whole heads and some mixed)

  • Mixed Greens—a fascinating and exotic salad mix for the adventure in you! We've been adding fresh herbs to the concoction for a little excitement!

  • Onions —Candy onions!

  • Potatoes—Fingerlings, Kennebecs, Purple, and Red Nolans!! Fresh dug . . . amazing flavor! 

  • Pumpkins and other Winter Squash (and gourde) varieties including winter luxury pumpkins, autumn frost, buttercups, honey boat delicata, honey nut butternut and full-size butternut, green and cream—Thelma Sanders—acorn, Musqee de Provance (Fairytale Pumpkins), spaghetti squash and many more! Enjoy the season of squash and get your potassium punch of the day!

  • Red Cherry Belle Radish & Watermelon Radish! -- these delicious delicacies are all the rave this season, try them out!!

  • Scallions (green onions) —super fresh and delicious!

  • Shallots

  • Spinach or Radish Tops—bursting with flavor & nutrients, try them!

  • Sweet Potatoes

  • Swiss Chard

  • Turnips—Purple Top White Globe with magenta

    As always, our produce is GMO-free and grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides — and we make sure it stays that way, even for crops that are tricky to grow naturally! 

Dairy & Eggs

This week’s options include:

  • Grass-fed cow's milk (Kalona Supernatural this week!), butter, buttermilk, cheese (Caciocavallo, cottage, GGC sharp cheddar, semi-soft, washed rind cheese, traditional tomme, semi-firm, smear-ripened, Alpine style premium reserves and a variety of others), French Dip, Kefir (plain), sour cream, yogurt (plain & vanilla), and whipping cream! 

  • Chicken, Duck & Quail eggs!
